Three studies is not a large body of work, and the samples are small. Treat them as a promising start.

The same review raises the more interesting problem, which is getting the molecule in at all. GHK is strongly water-loving, and the outer layer of skin is built to keep water-loving molecules out. Measured across intact epidermis, only 0.006% of an applied dose reached the other side. The copper appears to hand itself off to binding sites it meets on the way instead of traveling in as an intact peptide.
